Undergraduate Semester System Course of Psychology

Notes for Semester system course structure:

• The course work shall be divided into six semesters with two papers in each semester.

• Each paper in a semester will be of 50marks out of which 35 marks for theory and 15 marks are allotted for internal assessment (written test or assignments or both)

• Each theory paper shall consists of Three Sections :
• Section A: 20% of total marks (multiple choice, one word/one sentence answer, fill in the blanks, true- false; all parts will be compulsory),

• Section B: 40% of total marks (one question of 06 parts; any 04 have to be attempted with short answer) and

• Section C: 40% of total marks; (04 questions, any two have to be attempted with long answer).

• Practical in each semester will be of total 50 marks, out of which 12 marks are assigned for internal assessment (attendance, practical records etc.).

• Practical examination will be evaluated by both external and internal examiner.

• The duration of theory and practical examination shall be 03 hrs for each.

सोबन सिंह जीना परिसर, अल्मोड़ा के हिंदी विभाग में हिंदी भाषा-साहित्य तथा लोकसाहित्य के कई पाठ्यक्रम उपलब्ध हैं जिनको स्नातक एवं स्नातकोत्तर स्तर पर पढ़ाया जाता है। स्नातक तृतीय वर्ष के द्वितीय प्रश्नपत्र में तथा स्नातकोत्तर उत्तरार्ध के तृतीय एवं चतुर्थ प्रश्नपत्र में ‘कुमाउनी भाषा तथा साहित्य’ के विशेष अध्यापन की व्यवस्था है। सेमेस्टर प्रणाली के अंतर्गत तृतीय सत्र में द्वादश प्रश्नपत्र, चतुर्थ सत्रार्ध में त्रयोदश तथा चतुर्दश प्रश्नपत्र के रूप में कुमाउनी भाषा-साहित्य एवं लोकसाहित्य पढ़ाया जाता है। विभाग में इन विषयों के विशेषज्ञ प्राध्यापक कार्यरत हैं। यू.जी.सी. के मानकों के अनुरूप सेमेस्टर प्रणाली के अंगर्तत लगभग सभी विषय स्नातकोत्तर पाठ्यक्रम में निर्धारित हैं।

Paper I : History of India from A.D. 1761-1950 (75 Marks)

Unit I : 1. Expansion and consolidation of British Empire. (a) Tools of expansion: War and diplomacy- Bengal, Mysore, Marathas, North East, Rohillas, Awadh, Central India Sindh and Punjab; Subsidiary Alliance and Doctrine of Lapse.
