The Department of Computer Science is a pioneering academic center for
higher education, research, and innovation in key areas of computer
science. The driving mission for the department is to advance the
frontiers of research in Computer Science and impart world class
training to the students. Computer Science, as a subject, has started in
the campus since session 1989 -1990.
The fast changing technological scenario poses to the organization a
challenge of continuously updating its curriculum and faculty to be able
to provide state-of-the-art education to the students. Changes, both
major and subtle, have been made by the department, to be better
prepared for tomorrow.
